The weekend of May 6th and 7th, Mike Duray, Hossein and Shahin Amorani, Jon Hamlin, YiFan Xiang and An Binh Tran traveled to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the post Covid resumption of group training at the 41st annual Spring in the South gathering. Participants came from around the United States, Curaçao and Canada. David Lechuga, SKA president, came from California to lead 3 practices that were demanding, educational, and firmly rooted in tradition and fundamentals. Between the two Saturday practices and during Saturday night’s banquet at La Residence in downtown Chapel Hill, there was plenty of time for socializing with old friends and making many new ones.
